Norma’s exhibition showcases her work over the last few months where experimentation has dominated.

Working with the limited palettes of Anders Zorn (1860-1920) and L.S. Lowry (1887-1976) where just a few colours are used - white, ivory black, yellow ochre and vermilion for the former and then adding Prussian blue as used by the latter – to create a number of bouquets in vases flora, being a favourite subject.

Then moving into the Fauvism style of painting characterized by strong and often clashing colours and bold brush strokes as in her piece ‘Tea Time’.

Also on exhibit will be her more abstract landscapes of South West Rocks and other spots in Australia she has visited recently where again bright, bold colours are used in broad expanses. The scenes are recognizable but depicted in a unique style all her own.
