The Overwintering Project is an environmental art project inviting artists from Australia and New Zealand to visit, research and respond to the unique nature of their local migratory shorebird habitat. It was first conceived and subsequently run by Kate Gorringe-Smith.
The Overwintering Project is excited to be a part of the Birds of a Feather exhibition, and hope that the South West Rocks community will learn about the migratory birds in the region and enjoy the many different interpretations expressed in art.
All sales from the original artists prints will go in part to Birdlife Australia.
